Oroton: Spring Summer 2017

02 Aug 2017

A styling signature is written this spring summer season. The new OROTON campaign is an exploration of the versatility and elegant understated luxury that has become the handwriting of the Australian brand. Light-asair silk scarves flutter throughout, a constant thread woven in imagery that introduces the new mood of sophistication with a twist of spirit and savoir-faire this season.

A glowing terracotta backdrop for spring gives way to a fresh infusion of crisp white and the clean understatement of navy for summer, with polish model powerhouse Anna Jagodzinska fronting the campaign. The eye of photographer Simon Lekias introduces us to new season bags and accessories worn with the effortless élan and poise of the honey-haired Jagodzinska.

Anchored in clean colours the whole campaign is brought to life with make-up by Linda Jeffereys,
who counts work for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and hair by Michelle McQuillan, styled by respected Australian stylist Nicole Bonython-Hines.

The scarf comes into play in a big way; a clever, nimble all-rounder transforming from subtle flourishes on wrists to tied-on handles of bags, and bold statements of personal style: worn as lightweight tops or knotted around the head. In pure colours and custom created prints, it allows the wearer to capitalize on the versatility an Oroton piece offers, imbuing in each a sense of the wearer’s own personality and taste.

They are pieces made to seamlessly meld with Oroton’s accessories and brand new styles like the Forte totes and Empire bag: we see them looped around the whole length of supple leather straps and bag, encapsulating the dynamic Oroton approach to versatility, each accessory instantly elevating the wardrobe they work back with.

Just like the pace of fashion at large, Oroton is ever changing and emerges with a fresh new feel and spirit for spring summer, but this time one step ahead and always tied, be it by scarf or in a symbolic sense, to timeless everyday luxury.

Oroton is located on Level One.
